Mother Susie Ann Hines Allen, 92, of Sopchoppy, FL went Home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 24, 2023. Homegoing services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 2, at Greater Mt. Trial P.B. Church, with burial in Buckhorn Cemetery. Viewing is 4-6 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). A lifelong resident of Sopchoppy, Mother Allen had been a longtime member of Mt. Trial, serving as a Church Mother. She had been a Housekeeping Supervisor for several area hotels. An accomplished seamstress, she also loved reading her Bible, cooking and gardening. She leaves her love to her son, Willie David (Gwendolyn) Allen; daughters: Phyllis Allen (Isaiah) Harvey and Gail Freeman; sons-in-law: Charles Cotton and Andre Freeman; 16 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; sister, Lottie Donaldson; brother, Isaiah (Alberta) Hines; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
