Tamara Tamissa Bryant was born Thursday, December 18, 1975 to Patricia Ann Bryant and the late Eddie Lee Bryant, Sr. She grew up as a child in St. John Missionary Baptist Church where she attended often with her grandmother. She accepted Christ as her personal savior at a young age under the leadership of Pastor Ervin Montgomery.
Tamara attended the public schools of Leon County such as: Bond, Sabal Palm, Nims, Rickards and Belle Vue, which she had a passion for playing basketball and cheerleading. Every chance that she could, Tamara spent special time with her grandchildren whom she loved and cared for deeply.
Tamara grew up in the Bond Community on Saxon Street. It is in that same community where she met most of her supporting and loving childhood friends. She specialized in cleaning most of her life as she was a house aide at the Residence Inn in Tallahassee. Tamara enjoyed cooking, shopping, fishing, and traveling. Her most favorite and best catches were catfish and bream. She was in fact a beast when it came to cooking in the kitchen.
Tamara enjoyed music and listening to some of her favorite artists, like Mary J. Blige and H-Town. Tamara was a sweet and lovable person with a heart full of gold. Her beautiful smile and acts of kindness will always be remembered by all who encountered her.
Tamara leaves to cherish her beautiful memory, her husband: Kenneth Williams; mother: Patricia Bryant of Tallahassee, FL; five beautiful children: Takia Colson, Calvin Burns, Jr., Rosheeka Bryant, Janecia Williams and Sa'Niya Williams. Five grandchildren: Da'mone Colson, Germain Claridy, Adelle Colson, Journee Maxwell, and Me'Kai Manna. Now-expecting grandchild from her only son, Calvin Burns.
