THEO EDDWAN KNIGHT , lovingly known as "WICKEE", was the youngest of four boys born to the union of Willie B. Knight and Beverly Burkett Knight. "WICKEE" was born at 5:30 p.m. at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital on November 22, 1983. Ironically, WICKEE'S birth was exactly twenty (20) years after the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
WICKEE'S father and his brother, Jeanorrio Stefaun Knight, both preceded him in death.
WICKEE was educated in the public schools of Leon County and graduated from the county's Adult Education Program. Following graduation, he attended Ashworth University through its on-line program. While attending public school, WICKEE was a member of the Rickards High School Varsity Football team.
Over the years, WICKEE worked an array of jobs, including construction; Parks and Recreation with the City of Tallahassee and inventory management with Wal-Mart, where he ascended the supervisory-level positions. He worked for the City and for Wal-Mart simultaneously, one during the day and the other at night.
In his leisure, WICKEE enjoyed reading and engaging in various video games. He loved watching sports, especially football and golf. He also researched the effects of medication and, referring to the medicine's generic name, he could competently discuss the purpose and side effects of each medication. WICKEE self-taught himself Latin so as to better research medication.
On Thursday, December 4, 2025, God summoned THEO EDDWAN "WICKEE" KNIGHT Home for his eternal rest. His love and legacy will remain forever in the hearts of his beloved mother: Beverly Burkett Knight; brothers: Zachariah L. Knight and Bernardo M. Knight, all of Tallahassee, FL; several aunts and uncles of Alabama, California, Florida and Georgia; godmother: Roberta Carney; along with a host of godbrothers, godsisters, other relatives and friends.
It is our profound honor to have been entrusted with the care of Mr. Knight and to serve the Knight Family.
