Thomas Franklin "Frank" Gilmore, 70, of Tallahassee passed on Thursday, November 9, 2023. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 18, at Watson Temple Institutional COGIC, with burial in Oakland Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 p.m. Friday at Watson Temple. A Chipley, FL native, Frank was a 1971 graduate of Marion (SC) High School. He earned his Bachelor's degree from FSU. He was a professional basketball player in Finland and worked as an Assistant FSU Men's Basketball Coach. Frank was a retired Sergeant with the Tallahassee Police Department. Survivors include his wife, Argartha Rigby Gilmore; siblings: Artis (Enola) and Ossie Gilmore & Diane Gilmore Warrender; in-laws: Rutha R. Lumpkin, Wanda R. (Sol Jr.) Holiday, Janci R. (Floyd) Dorsey, William "Bill" Rigby and Andra Rigby; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
