Tyrell Huggins, 39, of Washington, DC passed there on Wednesday, May 15, 2024. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 1, at Bethel AME Church, Monticello, with burial in Oakfield Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF MONTICELLO (850-997-5553). A 2004 graduate of Rickards, Tyrell grew up worshipping at Bethel, Monticello. He earned his AA degree in General Studies, his BS in Criminal Justice and his Master's in Organizational Leadership. He was a Level II Management Specialist with the U.S. Food & Drug Administration. He traveled extensively to countless exotic domestic and foreign locations. Survivors include his aunt who raised him, Daisy (Saleem) Mays; father, Woodrow (Jackie) Huggins; sisters: Tiffany Brooks, LaTess (Maurice) Roberts, Dwell (Billy) Ruff and Tavia Huggins; brothers: Marius (Que) Bivens and James Huggins; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives. His mother, Mary "Patty" Brooks Tucker preceded him in death.
