It is with loving remembrance, we announce the passing of Ms. Valerie Vanessa Ann Conner, 63, of Tallahassee who passed on Friday, November 7, 2025.

A native of Monticello, Florida, "Val" was a 1980 graduate of Jefferson County High School. She attended Florida A&M University for a year before earning her Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Magna Cum Laude from Ashford University. She had been employed at Easter Seals, the Florida Dept. of Health (Dental Program) and Byrd Enterprises. Val was a member of Union Temple International Fellowship, Inc. Survivors include her son, Spencer Brent Allen Conner; nine grandchildren; mother, Mary Elizabeth Conner; brother, Spencer (Carmen) Conner III; sisters: Valisa Conner and Voncile Conner (Terence) Farmer; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, relatives and friends. Val's father, Spencer Conner, Jr. preceded her in death.

Viewing-visitation for Ms. Conner will be Friday, November 14, 2025, from 4:00PM - 6:00PM at Greater Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, 690 Cypress Street, Monticello, FL.

Val's Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00PM, Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Greater Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church (Monticello).

Per Val's directive, final memorialization will be via cremation.

We have truly been honored to have been entrusted with the care of Ms. Conner and to serve the Conner Family.
