Vera Mae Ford, 73. Of Tallahassee passed on Tuesday, October 15, 2024. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 21, at Mt. Horeb P.B. Church. Viewing -visitation is 3-5 p.m. Sunday (Today) at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). A Tallahassee native, Vera grew up in the St. Peter Community in NE Leon County where she attended public school. For more than 20 years, Vera worked in the hospitality and restaurant Industry in Tallahassee. Her Christian walk began at her family's home place of worship New Bethlehem P.B. Church, where she was active in several church ministries. She later became a member of Restoration Place, Tallahassee. Her love & Legacy will be cherished forever by her sister, Bobbie Ford Daniels; brother, Kendrick Ford; two nieces: Temeka (Eric) Thompson and Tamara Kyler; one nephew, Adrian Hill; two uncles Elder Jerome (Sandra) Ford and Odell Ford; three aunts; Mary Johnson, Gloria Bryant, Joyce Bulter, and a host of other relatives and friends.
