Vera Rosier Thomas, 74, of Sopchoppy passed on Friday, September 22, 2023, three days after her 74th birthday. Homegoing services are 12 noon Saturday at Mt. Trial P.B. Church, with burial in Buckhorn Cemetery, both in Sopchoppy. Viewing is 4-6 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). A lifelong Sopchoppy resident, Mrs. Thomas was a member of Macedonia Church of Christ Written In Heaven. She had been a storekeeper and enjoyed cooking, puzzles, joy-riding and taking care of others. Survivors include her daughters: Veneshia (Kevin Ford) & Quaneshia Plummer; sons: Lafayette (Verna) Thomas IV, John (Ginger) Thomas and Daron Harvey; 17 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; godson, Shay Roberts; sister, Linda Rosier Rankin; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
