Virginia Henry Petty, 83, passed at home on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. Memorial services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 20, at Rock Hill M.B. Church, with Inurnment in the Church Cemetery. The daughter of the now-late Samuel Sr. and Florence Brown Henry, Virginia was a Tallahassee native who had lived in New York for many years. She was a retired Dietician and Mental Healthcare Supervisor. She was a Church Mother and Choir Member at Rock Hill and a doting grandmother. Survivors include her sons: Michael London, Martin (Daeze) and Jerrerell Petty and Robert (Fannie) Ingram; daughter: Melanie Alexis; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers: Willie Sr.(Rose) and Timothy (Barbara) Henry; sisters: Althea Jenkins, Pauline Hodges, Vivian Brawdy, Joan Wimberly, Vicky (Darrell) Johnson, Mary Lee, Pearl and Inez Henry and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
