William Nealy, Sr., 77, of Monticello's West Lake Community passed unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 20, 2023. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 30, at Memorial M.B. Church, with burial in Bradley Cemetery. Viewing is 4-6 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF MONTICELLO (850-997-5553). William was a retired truck driver for Waukeenah Fertilizer. He was co-owner of C&W Nursery and a talented mechanic who enjoyed gardening as well as raising and tending livestock. Survivors include his devoted wife, Catherine Cummings Nealy; sons: Willie (Tonya) Sneed and Robert (Gloria) Nealy; daughters: Valerie Nealy and Adriane (Don) Shuler; 16 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; sisters: Annie Mae Goldsmith, Evangelist Ollie Swann, Rev. Lucille (J C) Graham, Doris Smith, Rev. Joretha Sloan and Rev. Cornelia Francis; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
