Retired U.S. Army Sgt. E-7 William Condry, 94, of Tallahassee, FL, passed at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, January 13, 2025. Funeral services are 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 21, in the Tallahassee National Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation is Monday, 4-6 p.m. at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). A native of Quincy, Sgt. Condry was a career Army enlistee, having served in active duty status for 30 years. He served three tours of combat duty in Vietnam, receiving medals and awards for valor. Following his honorable discharge, he worked as a Maintenance Mechanic for six years in state government. "Kitty", as Sarge was known, was a master at checkers and table tennis. His love and legacy will be cherished forever by his loving wife of 73 years, Iris Gibson Condry; daughters: Betty Ann (Harry ) Felder and Debra C. (Koben) Freeland; sons: Dale Condry and James Condry; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his children: William Jr., Thomas and Kerry Condry and Gail Condry Best
