Mrs. Willie Mae Thompson Firsher, 91, of Tallahassee's Mt. Sinai Community passed at home on Monday, May 20, 2024. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 31, at St. Paul AME Church, Chaires, with burial in the Tallahassee National Cemetery. Viewing is 4-6 p.m. Thursday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). Born and raised in Tallahassee, Mrs. Firsher was the widow of World War II Navy Veteran, Johnnie Firsher. She lived in Miami for many years, retiring from the Healthcare field. She was a member of St. Paul. Survivors include her daughters: Veronica (Willie) Wiggins, Denise White Thompson, Gwendolyn (Donald) Minor and Loretta (Anthony) Dozier; sons: Larry (Lola) Pye and Johnnie Firsher, Jr.; 17 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; brother, Junious Sampson and a host of other relatives and friends.
