Earnest Lee Adams, Jr.

Tallahassee, FL - Earnest Lee Adams, Jr., 54, passed away Monday, March 7, 2022. A memorial service honoring him will be 2:00 p.m. EST Saturday, March 19, at Meridian Woods Church of Christ (850-422-3657). TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950) is serving the family. Earnest Adams was born Dec. 6, 1967 to Earnest Sr. and Dorothy Adams. He is a 1986 graduate of Florida State University High School. He also received an Audio Recording and Production Diploma in sound engineering from the Institute of Audio Research in New York, NY in 1997. In addition, he worked as a pawnbroker for 15 years. His humor was contagious and his quick wit was appreciated by those he held dear. His passion for music led him to many places, as he worked closely with legendary artists as a sound engineer. In addition, his family was his pride and joy, all with whom he spent quality time at the lakes around Tallahassee doing his favorite pastime - fishing. Despite his recent health battles, he always had the strength to smile and spread laughter wherever he went. He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Adams; siblings: Sheryl Wilson (LeRoy), Marc Adams (Michelle); five children: Michelae Cole (Jeremy), Earnest Adams III, Sydney, Gabrielle and Jazzmine Adams; and one grandchild, Anoah Williams. He is preceded in death by his father, Earnest L. Adams, Sr.
