John "Hamp" Hampton, Sr., 72, of Lakeland, FL passed on Saturday, June 18, 2022. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Concord AME Church, with burial in the Church Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is 4-6 p.m. Friday at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950). John had worked for Mosaic as a drag line operator for 42 years before retirement. Cherishing precious memories are his loving wife, Delores Hampton; sons: John Hampton, Jr. and Lamar (Samantha) Hampton; 7 grandchildren; sister, Hazel Leland; aunt, Emma Lee Hampton; and a host of family and friends.
